Uhhh no? Theres literally less daylight during winter the more northern or southern you get? Thats literally how sunlight works? During the shortest days of winter i get about six hours of daylight over here which is just not enough for me personally. I know the natives here dont have a problem with it but im not from here. Probably where im from most people would still find winters dark but thats what i grew up with. As for dst, it doesnt matter in most of the world but in the north it is nice to wake up with sunlight and spend your first few hours in it but i think we should just adjust when work starts, instead of the clocks.

Idk i love summer here but im just not built for the winter here. It doesnt even get really cold but theres so little daylight. Thats why i might move to canada cause its much less northern, has colder winters and hotter summers. Those are all wins for me.

The amazing thing with this guy is that hes not a faker. Usually these guys learn a few phrases from a language like chinese or japanese and go to the respective part of town where they speak it and try to impress people. This guy actually knows so many languages that he doesnt “speak” them actually, couldnt hold a real comversation but thats not even the point. Knowing a hundred words from a hundred languages is ten thousand words. Plus a bit of grammar and pronounciation plus french for example and probably a few other languages he actually speaks better and you see how this guy is genuinely impressive even tho he doesnt actually “know” every language as thats not what hes trying to do.

Yup, same, and the translation is correct. Tho sometimes because of the age of this comic they use words that are not exactly part of my everyday vocabulary like “idény” which means season but idk what the nuanced meaning is.
