I’m glad you found purpose in the responsibility of caregiving. Truly. But that doesn’t mean your dog loves you, I’m sorry. It is an animal whose entire existence is dependent upon you, and a child of a long line of selective breeding and conditioning designed specifically to perform for you. You chose your dog, your dog had no voice in the matter.

My lane is dogs with jobs are a wonderful innovation and boon to humanity but those that are “just pets” are a social scourge needlessly costing us money and resources that could be applied to humanity as well as furthering the goal of the powerful of killing empathy and human connection by replacing our innate need for connection with a pathetic fascimilie.

We can sterilize them so that the existing dogs we have can live their best possible lives but so this does not become an continuing and increasing problem.

I mean, the dog has never known freedom, so why would it care which slavemaster it has?

I think onions are disgusting, but I’m a Supertaster (it sounds better than it is) so my taste buds are weird. But yes, to me they’re enormously disgusting.

Thankfully leeks and shallots are both delicious, so when I cook I just replace any onion in a recipe with either leek or shallot.

I was trying so hard to figure out why these tweets look weird, thinking maybe they were just fake tweets… Turns out these are “threads” from Threads and that’s why they look weird, but ngl, I genuinely did not know anyone used Threads.
