The Boreal Owl in Western Washington will always be my holy grail bird. ❤️🔥 Multiple years, many nights going home with no documentation. Despite the photo strikeouts I always enjoy the attempts and love knowing they live in my home state.
Image taken with long exposure method, no flash photography. Light source not pointed directly on the bird (dilated pupils indicate these low light conditions for anyone concerned 👍)
