Just because there is now an opening, doesn’t have to mean that the Dems will actually act. I hope they do, but… you know… when was the last time you ever looked up to a politician (excluding Mamdani, Worf and Martok)?

Ilhan Omar, Peggy Flanagan, Walz. Crocket, AOC. Bernie. Greene. El-Sayed, Amy Akton.

I’m sure there’s more in this last batch, my heads still spinning.

Ah yes, staunch Democrats on that list. This will go over so easily!

Seriously, this is the beginning of the fight, not the end.

Enkidu was really a great friend, which, people who know, they’re everywhere, and you really can’t get better than that, the amazing things he did, and everybody knows it, like our wonderful war against the great bull, which we won by a lot, but Enkidu became very low energy like sleepy Joe and kept on complaining, and we couldn’t do anything for him, and we were all saying “come on Enkidu” but the woke left, you know, it just turns out sometimes, it’s the way things go, and I was feeling better than ever. And I still am, the energy is great, and it’s a great energy here today with you. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

It’s a matter of perspective. Yes, on the one hand the Republicans lost a few races, but on the other hand the Voting-Is-Useless-Violence-Is-The-Answer Party lost even more badly–they didn’t even open up one single seat!
