Nearly all of this metal was free, too. Hooray for scrap and free stuff.

I have a ways to go yet, but it feels good being able to post some tangible progress and see my beads get better with practice. I have a fair amount of experience with gas MiG, but very little with stick.

The cart/frame is for a Lincoln AC225 which I’m refurbishing and adding DC outputs. This machine was built in 1971 and still runs great. These old transformer based machines are built like tanks.
