I’m but have young kids (11 and 13). They were watching Indiana Jones for the first time last summer. When Belloq came on, I’d put on my white fedora, switch to my dark fedora when Indy came on. My daughter, “Wait! THAT’S why you dress like that?!”
On day I looked in the mirror at work and realized I dressed as Indy almost every day. Brown pants, short brown boots, long sleeve shirts, brown leather jacket, messenger bag slung across my chest. I had no idea I had been doing that. Now that I’ve finally realized the utility of hats outdoors, I have a collection of fedoras with wide brims.
The Indiana Jones theme song would play in my head every time I was about to do something stupid or daring.
