How do I delete someone else’s Lemmy account?

I haven’t used Umbrel but I’m pretty sure it predates the AI times
Even with the inflated prices, buying storage is much cheaper than renting it from cloud services.
The target lifetimes for a NAS hard drive is 5 years. A 16TB NAS drive will cost less over that 5 years than Apple’s 2TB cloud storage plan. And that’s assuming Apple won’t raise over those 5 years (they will).

Because Jellyfin is an ugly, duct-taped-together mess. It’s very utilitarian at best, when everything is working. Ease of use is just not there for your non-technical friends and family.
Invariably whenever you bring any of these issues up, people will come out of the woodwork and tell you “Oh you just have to bolt this thing on or use it in this one specific unintended way in order to get it working halfway towards what you want”.

Don’t listen to this guy. You don’t have to turtle all your stuff inside a VPN if you don’t want to. Hosting services on the internet is what the internet was created for. It’s up to you whether what you want to host is exposed to the internet or not, and as long as you’re aware of the risks do what you want man. I will mention that Immich specifically might not be the best idea to expose since it’s so unstable, but that depends on your level of comfortability. Worst case scenario is somebody gets into your Immich and can see all your photos. Would this be a dealbreaker for you? If so don’t expose it publicly. Otherwise you’re perfectly fine.
If you read the Catechism I referenced it explains the Church’s explanation for why they say what they do. The church actually will refer to God in a feminine sense sometimes.
The TL;DR of it though is that if you think of your own parents, you are made from the matter of your mother. Your father’s DNA provides the design. In Catholic theology we are not made of what god is made of, so calling god our father is simply more accurate in human terms than mother.
