No. I never played Zelda and I stopped with GTA at Vice City.

You have a mix of MAGA and conservatives who would never vote for anything remotely liberal/progressive.

Yeah. I got a cousin crashing out right now.

To get rid of someone due to impeachment, you need 2/3 of the Senate, something that Democrats alone don’t have. Only one Senator has voted against their party to impeach and they aren’t in office any more.

No. It would feel weird.

Boss would accept the work of hungover me over the work of sober coworkers.

In many third rail powered trains, the third rail is usually located outside of the two running rails, so you can avoid touching it as long as you walk between the two running rails. With the one exception of a train being on that track, it is generally the safest place to be.
Also, a lot of places usually put a non-conductive cover over it to protect it. I’ve seen flagmen sit on it over deenergized third rails, but I wouldn’t want to risk it.

Maybe it just wasn’t a good fit, which is fine. People don’t always fit into the job they take and being let go gives you the ability to find something new.

Idiocracy?

The only way MSG gets replaced at a site remotely similar to what it has now is to take over the second part of the Hudson Yards project, which would require a lot of stakeholders to agree on the move. Outside of that, MSG would likely need to move to an outer borough or New Jersey, something that the Knicks and Rangers don’t want to do. So, the Knicks and the Rangers play in a very old stadium.
For most North American sports team owners, they generally want a newer stadium as a draw. I guess Calgary has the room for a new stadium in a place the owners are happy for it to go.

China’s weaponization of trade
Eh, I don’t think the threat of Chinese trade is that it is being strategic. The problem is that China has set itself up so that it only really needs natural resources to maintain its economy and won’t/can’t open itself up to import other manufactured goods of significant quantity.
It is incredibly hard for any industrial or service led economy to export enough goods and services to China to make up for the goods that China wants to export.

Clothes as a signifier of wealth has dropped over the last quarter of the 20th century as the ability to dress down at work was a form of displaying power at work. For the insanely wealthy, they but designer clothes, but they are buying more for the better materials and workmanship; branding on the clothes is understated and can usually requires an education by the people looking at it.
There are some brands who are for the aspirationaly wealthy who do display their brands more conspicuously, but they aren’t for the billionaires.

What would you call a paved surface that is dedicated to non-car traffic?

Not everyone respects the ding.

To defend the comment, I’m including paved trails designed for non-car traffic. So there is a 3+ m wide paved trail for large parts.

Per the rules, I’m not passing them on the right.

Passing is a two person affair.

This is horrible. Halloween is Beverly’s favorite holiday.
If you have access to a hot pot or oven, braising your own meat will be cheaper than cold cuts. Pork, whole chickens, and parts of turkey will be cheaper by the pound than their equivalent meat as a cold cut.
