  • You right but it’s not my job to enlighten people. I’m rude to anyone that knocks on my door without an invitation. You’ve made my dogs bark and interrupted my day. Usually woken me up because I’m always up late.

The local JW’s descend on my neighbourhood like a flock of sundress wearing seagulls. All these women in matching flowy floral dresses hop out of their van and an old dude in a boat hat directs them around with fliers and Bibles. They’re at my door on Saturday morning at 8am. I told them I’m not interested the first time. The second time, I told them I’m going to go off at them if they wake me up again, it’s rude and I don’t want to hear anything they have to say.

The third time they came around I told them to shove their Bibles up their fucking cunts. They still woke me up the fourth time because I sleep with my window open, but they didn’t knock on my door again.

I fucking hate them, and I’m not going to change their mind even if I follow your approach. I grew up in an abusive religious household and there’s no getting through to them. They have a superiority complex about their beliefs and think they’re better than you for being a non believer. Having that conversation with them just fuels the narcissism. I’ve tried with family members as an adult and it has literally never gone anywhere except for a snarky “I’ll pray for you” when the conversation ends.

  • There was a dude that used to frequent the bar I worked in with the last name Fuller. We used to say he was fuller shit because he wouldn’t shut the fuck up. If we saw him coming we would run, because the first bartender he started talking to was going to be stuck there for at least two hours listening to him ramble about his whisky collection.

The man was a hoarder and an alcoholic, once bragged about how he hid $30k worth of whisky uber his baby’s crib so his wife wouldn’t find it. And that’s basically the gist of his rants, but they were unending.

This news put a smile on my face.
