I wonder if this might be the issue. I live in the basement next to the mechanical room so I can hear the well pump switch on almost every time a faucet is turned on or a toilet flushed.

Is it not supposed to do that?

We do have a large blue pressure tank but if it’s malfunctioning how would someone know?
