I already had a second career in circus so I’m just shifting priorities

I left corporate software engineering after 10 years. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you can stomach the worst side of humanity.
I still love development, but I would only return if I can get a guarantee that I don’t have to develop or work with AI, and only if I’m offered more than I was making before

They’re pretty stretchy usually. There’s different materials too, my favorite are the cotton T-shirt material ones. Fwiw I’m a woman and rarely try them on in stores, barring maybe thrift shops.
AMA ig?

Unlike traditional types such as string, number, or even JavaScript’s dangerously permissive any, an ambiguous variable can contain any value, several values, or no value at all, depending on execution context, compiler mood, and whether anyone is currently debugging it.
It’s different than loosely typed vars, which are not at all exclusive to Javascript

I’m a fire performer, but the skill is cslled flow arts. It’s a type of dance/exercise. I’ve also done a bit of stage combat

They don’t know what to do with their hands while they speak

I’m not hypermobile, it’s from a decade+ of staff spinning
Toast sandwich

I can flex my arm in such a way that my shoulder blade juts out, allowing me to grab my shoulder blade with the same-side arm. It can freak people out
I love Zelda but there’s no fucking way I’m shelling out for a Switch 2 rn. I’m with the “in this economy?” guy

I’m happy with my identity, but thanks to political persecution and lots of international moves my stability has always been shaky

Yup. The fascist is dead though.

I honestly think it’ll hit Canada first. Our population is smaller than France’s. Not that I’m advocating for it or anything
Having grown up in the US, I don’t see anything substantial happening short of civil war unfortunately. And even then it won’t have clear borders, it’ll be scorched earth class war

Not US, but I got laid off almost immediately after my international move. My immigration this year has been a mess. Thankfully my lifetime partner has citizenship otherwise we’d be up shit’s creek

Congratulations!! I’ll share the main tidbit of advice I share with other newer trans folk: transition is a marathon, not a sprint. It’s like learning a new language. Please keep that in mind and be kind to yourself

None. The majority of people don’t give a single fuck until something affects them directly, and will happily live under fascism as long as someone else is taking the brunt of it

Pan’s Labyrinth
Absolutely fantastic, I consider it a masterpiece. Definitely one of my favorite movies.

My partner and I dream of affording a $1Mil house on a shared income, you really need to rethink what you consider (or don’t consider) wealthy
For consoles and phones, I’ve stopped caring about screen resolution past 1080p. I have an eye disability that makes it hard to tell the difference anyway. It’s why I haven’t been sold on a Switch 2, I just see it as a paygate
