I don’t understand where you’re getting “less performance” from, it is very much the opposite.

Sierra EV is 478 mi.
Hummer is 319 mi.
Silverado is 478 mi.
Escalade IQ is 465 mi.

You’re assuming that everyone is using their trucks to tow across the country, but that’s very much not the case. The vast majority are just used to move things around town. The GM trucks have a considerable amount of range, even when towing. And the performance is way better than gas. They can tow more and don’t have to worry about brakes catching on fire going downhill.

You can’t tow anything with an EV truck
I’m really interested to know where people are getting this false information from. I know people who tow with their electric trucks every single day.

Yep, small EV trucks like Slate and Telo and whatever Ford is making now will sell.
Your IP address is the easiest and most common way.

I came across https://walt.is/ recently.

I had to make a Google account recently. Had to do the same thing. It’s required for pretty much any corporate account these days.
Truth. They don’t seem intent on collaborating with anyone. I’ll be unsurprised if their Motorola partnership falls apart as well.
I’m not pigeonholeing anything: you’re the one who misunderstands what free hardware is.
Wrong.
LOL this has nothing to do with “feeling free”. Being able to repair your devices is hardware freedom. I don’t know why you have this pigeonholed interpretation that only pertains to design and licensing.
GrapheneOS refused to make their OS work on Fairphone
This is a two-way street.
I don’t know where you get the idea that repairability isn’t freedom?
“free” is not a binary proposition. Certainly Fairphone is more “free” than any other “phone” on the market that I’m aware of.
It is a sad but simple question: what’s more important to you? Free software or free hardware?

Thanks for adding all those children to Amazon’s tracking network.

I promise I can protect my own server better than Mozilla can (or will).

Be aware that it’s an Electron app, and as such, not really worth installing. just run it in the browser.

I’m not particularly interested in anything that’s not encrypted or not on my personal server.
That’s not what “performance” means, but I digress.
