Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Why aren't people outraged about convenience pricing?
1·2 days agoThey are standing up against it but they still can’t compete with Wall Street PE firms that see AI as another way to eliminate a certain percentage of that pesky human labor that costs so dang much to keep alive.
How exactly are we suppose to stop such greed when we aren’t allowed to remove these elements from our economy? Voting doesn’t fix it. Boycotting doesn’t fix it. Its entrenched. History offers but one suggestion and the system is very anti-violence these days.

4·4 days agoYeah unpopular opinion but floor mattress is ideal for pounding. More stable, less squeaky, can still do a full range of positions on it.

1·4 days agoSorry buddy. But as they say, all good things must come to an end.

Not enough mass. The airliners were wide bodies and were fully fueled at the time of impact. Thats like 9,000 gallons of fuel. Imagine how heavy it is to carry a 1 gallon jug of milk, imagine how much 9,000 of those would feel. You wouldn’t want to try to catch a full 1 gallon jug of milk if I tossed it down from a 3rd story window, right? Now imagine that gallon of milk moving 3-4 times as fast…now multiply that by 9,000.
That roadster is going to be out of fuel by time it gets up to the 100th floor. Amateurs.
