A toad with a shield!

Two things.

First: frogs are cool. I want more of them.

Second: I’ll have you all notice that, while wenesday comes once every week, there isn’t to my knowledge a single frog-dedicated community in the whole threadiverse.
I’ve tried to make one once but after only two posts and a few hours it show signs of becoming popular and I chicken of it in the fear of having to moderate.

And you’re in time for the anual event of the election of the superb owl. The best even of the whole fediverse that start during december.

lol. I’m usually one of the people who explains to the new ones in too many details how the fediverse works, how it applies to the threadiverse then to Lemmy. Somehow I didn’t feel like it today. I’m glad you enjoyed it.

They are full of protein.

Welcome. You are now a Lemming.

Don’t worry to much about people telling you to hate this instance or this other, you’ll find out on your own. Use heavily the blocking fonction and everything will be fine.

You don’t find a niche community to post or comment in? Do the same on the less niche but related community.
Around here people hate AI, love beans, Start Trek and Linux. You can disagree and still enjoy the memes.

Lemmy is like many tiny Reddits called instances. You barely realise you switch from one to another while browsing happily expect for “instance nationalism”. It is smaller but more humane. That’s about all you need to start.

Don’t hesitate to share you hobbies to get recommandation. Here is mine anyway : !superbowl@lemmy.world

Enjoy.
