That I’m talented and kind hearted
A few months ago I was at a festival. I talked with 3 strangers and one said to another out of nowhere: “hey he looks a lil bit like you” and the other one replied “more like a pokemon evolution of me!” And tried to mimick my laugh for a second.
I think of this often, because the festival was shit because of the weather and this was one of the few things which make me thin “it was worth it!”
I caught my spouse of 15 years checking me out the other day. Made my day, week even

I accidentally acquired an admirer fairly recently, and though we decided not to do anything about it (as we’re both in serious long-term relationships), some of the things that were said to me are basically the nicest things anyone has said to me for years (if not ever) and it still makes me smile to remember them.

I think some of the things said were a little… inappropriate for a “wholesome” thread, unfortunately.
One of the servers at work was struggling to lift a box and looked at me and said “hey tall dude with the big arms, can you help me carry this?”
Never thought my arms were big enough to be pointed out
as if my special concotion of issues would allow me to remember any praise, lol
Nothing. And I love them for it.
