The tech-market has been in a bit of a downturn since October 1st, which coincides perfectly with the release of the financial trading anime “FX Fighter Kurumi-chan”

NVDA, ORCL, Broadcom, AMD are all down since Oct. 1st though.

Intel is the one that matches the anime’s timing the most out of all of them so I chose it as more of an amusement. But the CRWV meltdown started in Oct. 1st, which caused people to start to question the AI Trade. That’s caused most tech stocks (at least, those heavily invested into AI) to decline… at the same time as this anime’s release.

I mean… Broadcom is about where it was a year ago. Nvidia is higher than it was a year ago. Intel is higher than it was a year ago. Oracle has been coming down since June. AMD is double the price it was a year ago. S&P is higher than it was a year ago. I simply detect no trend tied to that particular date.

I feel like you are missing the current market feeling by zooming out so much.

The market reaction this week, this MONTH is because of the AI trade in general. Coreweave becoming distressed. Google being forced to borrow money. Googles earnings being bad in AI age (and Google being forced into cloud more, which is worrying when neoclouds like Coreweave look shaky). Oracle threatening to fall to junk bond status. Anthropic releases S-1 showing $80 Billion GAAP net loss. Anthropic bonds starting at junk. OpenAI and Anthropic valuations decline by 25% (Anthropic expected an IPO valuation of $2 Trillion. The new expectation is $1.5 Trillion). Etc. etc.

A lot of these financial reports and feelings only started in October.
