I work in IT and somehow despite all the automation going on around me I’ve rediscovered my love of “handwriting” websites, like just typing out the html and filling it with my thoughts and wishes.
Started baking my bread instead of buying it from the store. Its easy, fun, healthier and cheaper. Win-win-win!

The feral cat rescue that foster failed on me has started sitting in my lap. She doesn’t like anyone except me and will run unless I am alone but we’re making so much progress. When she’s in my lap she gets comfy enough to let her guard down and ignore other people around me. Now that I can make her safe and happy we have a good place to reset after trying new things. Time for her to start making some friends.
I made my grandparents meatloaf the other day. They’re both 95, it’s nice to be able to spend time with them.

Want to hear the nice part? They divorced forty years ago. Now their respective spouses are gone, so they’ve decided to get back together, at 95. They’re wicked cute.
