My nearby gas station has been out of fuel for 2 days. Another sign of collapse or just bad planning on their logistics ?

Depends where you live but it’s mostly in larger cities and connecting larger cities. If you live outside them, you still need one or two cars. Distances may be shorter though. I have 20 minutes to work but no option for public transport

It’s approx. 10-11€ ($11-12) per gallon in Germany aswell. 2,20-2,30€ per liter.

8,73€ for a gallon where we go in Maasmechelen, we live near the Belgium (and German) border. 1,86€ per liter at the moment. The Netherlands is mostly the same or more expensive than Germany.

I recall the Germans getting diesel in the Netherlands and we went to Germany for E10, 20 years ago.

Anyway, US prices are still cheap compared to ours. Even less expensive than our gas prices decades ago.
