Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•How to gain weight from eating almost exclusively bread and potatoes?
0·11 days agoOK, here is the thing. If you are for real, get help. Real one, not internet strangers. Malnutrition will fuck you up long-term. Find out any program that can help you get real food. Get help.
In would also recommend to find a job to give you structure. Not some gig economy scam, something real. Wash dishes, help your community, anything that gives you structure and something to do. You don’t need to get rich, you need a foundation you can build on, because if you are for real, there is some serious ground work missing.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•How to gain weight from eating almost exclusively bread and potatoes?
0·11 days agoSince you mentioned that you hate cooking and have no interest in making it tasty but want efficient more calories: Pint of ice cream. Let it melt, drink it. 1000 calories per pint. Most of them useless, but if your goal is weight gain…
Otherwise, protein heavy diet (beans, rice, vegetables) plus a workout routine to actually build up muscles and not just fat

They each were great for their time. Kirk was a brash explorer in a fresh, untaimed galaxy. Picard was perfect for the time where the federation was established, where you needed politics and compromise - before the dangers of the Borg, before the Dominion, before the Marquis. He actually had the the chance to explore a more peacefull galaxy, without so many constant threats.
Picard was a real man of science first, and he, as, Stewart, were perfect for that time in Star Trek and in our world in the 90s.
Sadly, neither the Federation nor we won’t see a peaceful time like that, I fear. I wish, we could have that again.
