Shitty design ideas 101.
Wtf even is that room
What is that toilet paper doing
What is that blue towel doing to the tp
Why is the water heater taking in what looks like both hot and cold water
What is even going on in this picture
What is that counter
What is that mirror
Why is there a toilet in this big open room
I have so many questions
You know how you can run your hand over velvet and it changes color slightly depending on how you’ve mussed the fibers?
I have a another weird spot for you.
Look at the rug.
Someone must have the most consistent pattern of travel ever. The electrical on the water heater looks temporary
What is that white cable or pipe leading to the toilet from the tank
I thought it could be for wheelchair access, but then there’s the sketchy looking stairs behind the… Wood… Fence… and the… Transparent cloth wall???
Why does the brown cow pattern fit the little cutout for the toilet in the rug
Why is there a giant cabinet under that counter, but it also still looks inaccessible
What is that giant sink against the wall in the mirror
That cabling is the kind of temporary that lasts longer than the heater. The pipe from the heater to the toilet is the pressure relief of the heater. To me it looks like a DIY repair in a Soviet summer home, maybe in the Baltics somewhere. Just a random guess. The transparent is probably a glass wall. Why glass? No clue, people are weird. That cow hide was matched to the toilet most likely… The sink is probably a clearance sale item from some luxury looking brand. Got it for cheap or free just needed a use for it :D Well these are just my thoughts but it does evoke some nostalgia in me.
I wonder if that’s the hot water heater for the whole house? Looks a bit small and it’s odd to mount that on the wall unless modern stuff is just that good.
Something about this seems like someone’s partially finished basement and it’s a Pittsburgh potty, which answers some of your questions at least.
huh, i didnt realize there was an official term for those. Here, locally, ( Ohio ) ive only ever heard them called sacrificial toilets or “random basement toilet”.
Looks like a shady AirBnb where the host didn’t have a bathroom, but did have a spare basement storage space and a cow rug that was too ugly to put anywhere else and simply didn’t give a shit.
And it looks like shit.
Yeah, I should have said: didn’t have a bathroom or any taste whatsoever
It’s definitely some kind of DIY home improvement.
I’m more concerned about the Final Destinationesque hot water tank.
Why is there a staircase going down right into the bathroom? Is the entire floor bathroom? If not, do the other areas have their own stairs or is all access through the bathroom?
My imagination is telling me it’s an apartment with all single room studios that you access each room via trapdoor and you’re actually just living in a furnished pit.
Who thought cowhides were a good idea period? The 70s?
Bad idea. Those rugs are not easy to clean, and you know some dickhead who refuses to sit down on a toilet is going to piss all over it.
Well yes. That’s the point of the post, but all the other interesting points above…the water heater of Damocles…, stairs… Hmmm.
That hospital has a pretty big budget for decorations
That’s not a hospital, it’s a La Quinta
Was it a white cow?
Allegedly.
I guess that answers the age old question: how now brown cow?
