Gotta start somewhere. Eventually I’ll ascend to a ceremonial rattle of DRAM chips and a teardrop tattoo of a hard drive for each one that has fallen to my hand

You’re also reducing demand for factory farming, sourcing healthier meat than money can buy, and participating more directly in the cycles of life we’re so cut off from these days. Not a super accessible option for most city folks, but a real good one

Bomb a datacenter
The dopest part is when it’s so nice out you don’t have to wear clothes, everyone wants to come visit, and both freedom and fine dining surround you in unlimited quantities. The least dope is when you’re drying firewood next to a fire, out of everything but rice and jerky, and hauling water all alone cause you can’t get $20 together to fix your pump. Definitely not safe, but definitely real and apparently that’s what matters to me. Probably going to go be more traditionally homeless somewhere warmer this winter and get some $ together

Threads like this read a lot different when you’re hungry.

Brother I consider living indoors opulent, and it sounds like your whole family is late for a guillotine appointment. Talking about how your “shitty” home is “only” worth three quarters of a million dollars is disgustingly entitled and ungrateful, I’m really hoping you aren’t real

How come you ain’t rob em yet?

Why would you charge yourself?
I hate theory nerds and would like to recommend to you “civilization will eat itself” by Ran Prieur (probably spelled that wrong)
Personally as some rando I’d like to see anyone who positions themselves in a chokepoint like that fail, whatever they’re claiming to represent. Spread that wealth nice and thin, like oil in a hot pan

I once happened to have a pretty bad nosebleed when they knocked, they were taken aback when I opened the door and wordlessly fled with terror in their eyes when I said “this is no place for a man of god”. Now I feel bad :(
Feel like donating to the cause? (The cause is that I would like a computer)
I barely have enough money to make a trip into town, much less buy anything. I squat in the woods eating fish and potatoes and tinkering with the scavenged infrastructure that supports me. It’s actually pretty dope lol
The kind your grandpa was scared of in 1953 maybe. All property collectivized under the control of a scheming bureaucrat isn’t exactly the better world I like to think is possible

Onion and cheese together though? Brother.
Carpet used to be very expensive, but also serviceable. The good stuff (this looks like the good stuff) would have been wool, and it would have been taken up to clean and maintain on occasion pre-ww2. There was a lot more manual labor back then, skilled and not. So “have the maker touch it up” and “have someone beat the dust out with sticks” would both have been regular occurrences

Political attack ads that inadvertently make their targets seem based are one of my favorite genders

Agriculture was a mistake. But not right now, I have lot of hunting and gathering to do
A lot of the time what makes those days the worst of someone’s life is, you know, the near-irresistable force pursuing them with guns and chains and a high resolution global surveillance network
