RIP Sir Patrick Stewart (1940-2026).
I need to sleep with more green women.

It’s the fountain of youth from what I’ve seen.
Tell that to Hunter
Someone needs to put Shatner and Takei into a protective bubble until this awful week is over.
(Well, probably two separate bubbles)
While we’re bubbling people, you know how sometimes when one person dies their significant other dies shortly after? What I’m saying is, someone should probably be checking on Sir Ian McKellen.
I recently rewatched LotR and had a lot of dread seeing how old Gandalf looked in that movie that itself isn’t that young.
This timeline has been cooked for way too long, where’s a tachyon anomaly when we need one
Best I can do is false vacuum decay
We might need to solve this the way Janeway did

Why does it look like Voyager is ramming Babylon 5?
I know its Year from Hell but goddamn you could put that in Severed Dreams
Just proves to me that Bill Shatner is sucking the life force out of all his co stars to live longer. Very on brand for him.
He’s only 9 years older than Patrick Stewart, apparently. I view TOS and TNG as very distant from each other, but they were only 18 years apart.
They were still making TOS movies while TNG was airing
But at age 90, it’s something like a 1 in 4 chance you’ll die every year. So, even if he’s only 9 years older than Stewart, the odds of him outliving Stewart would have been pretty low, all other things being equal.
This is a damn shame :(

OMG, they’re gonna get sucked out that window into space, where that one Enterprise is frightfully retreating!
Maybe i should become a raging alcoholic afterall
in the end long lived people tend to have long lived parents.
Not that I would ever wish any ill on Stewart. Nice guy, but Shatner’s Kirk is way more enjoyable as a a captain than Cap’n Crunch there.
Edit: I kind of expected this. People seem to be conflating Mr Stewart, whom I do mention I think was a nice guy, with the character he played, which I think was not very interesting, but hey.
However, people are right in pointing out that the comment was ill timed.
I think it’s just because you’ve not only chosen to be wrong, but you’ve chosen a less than great time to be wrong about this in particular.
