I don’t understand when people say “normies” this and “normies” that. What makes us any different than when we were on Reddit?

How many people were actually even using Lemmy only before they were using Reddit? I rarely used it before but when they got real shitty, I decided to move here.

So what does that even make me? What creed do I need to follow to be considered not a “normie”?

Either the he’s dead or that the market has crashed and we’re entering recession. If the latter, people will have to realize the system doesn’t work and will be forced to mobilize like France. They won’t feel the comfort of “it’s not me yet”. It’ll be hell on earth :)

I want to see us go where France is headed. Nobody wants to accept that that level of resistance is what’s needed to make the people manipulating things actually see us at eye level. Until we do, it will be the same shit show where there are compromises made whilst those same decisions cause other bad things to continue. Then, this will all keep coming back to somebody removing what we made them put in place, and then we do this all over again because they still have a hold over us and that fear is what lets the corrupt 1% have their way.

It’s a very twisted and toxic way of keeping peace and order when we can just make them listen to us in the first place without us having to bend down to our knees for their enrichment.

Just want to call out the obvious but all auto makers are doing this. Just 'cause the headline isn’t out there doesn’t mean they aren’t. They don’t have your best interest in mind. People are literally having to reverse engineer smart TVs of all things to get transparency on what these companies are actually doing. This is fucked up.

The funniest part about this isn’t even the text. It’s the shitty crops and the fact that they needed to make it have colors aligned to trans flag but they still couldn’t just put the actual flag as the background. So it’s like a shitty half-assed poster. lol

We could actually fix everything. We outnumber all of them and we could do what France is doing.
